If you are asked to participate in a usability study, you will be offered free gifts and other incentives for your feedback. Some research activities are self-paced tasks or surveys that you can complete in about 5-10 minutes; others are conducted one-on-one online with a researcher remotely. You may be receive a set of scenarios and tasks to complete under observation. These tasks typically take 20 to 30 minutes and are recorded for analysis by our researchers.
Usability studies could include:
- Getting sneak peeks at new concepts and prototypes.
- Giving feedback on tools and live TI.com pages.
- Chatting with our team members about your challenges and how we can help.
When and where?
You can usually participate in usability testing remotely from your home or office computer, either on your own or with our team. We share our screens through video conferencing and ask what is working for you and what we could improve. If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, you may be asked to come to our offices in person when safe.
